Completed the Three Body Problem trilogy. I’m not sure overall if I would recommend it, I was left wanting, but not in a good way.

Considering the sheer volume of prose in these books, it feels like the story is both incredibly dense, deep, and far-reaching. Yet at the same time I don’t look back on the story as being as rich and complete as I thought I would going in.

There’s a few choice scenes that are truly memorable, but the parts between that felt both completely surface and also overly deep, somehow both at the same time.

Glad I read them, I’m not sure it would be very near the top of my recommendation list though.
